Vocal Noise was founded by Kenton Hankins, an Informatics Graduate student, and Ryan
Pfeifer, a Kelley School of Business Major. This unlikely duo started Vocal Noise while
attending Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. They desire to make a difference in the
world. Therefore, they decided to create a company whose sole purpose was to implement
new, web based technology in order to help those who require alternative and augmentative
communication (AAC) for everyday life. Thus Vocal Noise was spawned as a means of
unrestricted, reliable, and affordable AAC. The dream of Kenton and Ryan is to one day have
anyone who needs AAC in order to effectively communicate use Vocal Noise because this
product is available anytime, anywhere, using any device, and in any language.
